Plumbing
Well, the plumbing is a wash,,,lol,,, to many busted pipes and valves. I went ahead and estimated a total cost for complete replacement and it will run about 1200.00 big ones. With that being said, Carol and I have been tent camping for years now so we can do without the running water inside until next season. I am going to fix the floor and put new vynel down. then I am buying a portapotty,,wooo hoooo. all that is left,,,I HOPE is brakes and bearings.

Pandora's Box
Well, as many others who have taken on the task of restoring a vintage airstream, we have opened Pandora's box once again. Bobby decided to take the old carpet out of the bunk area. He had already taken it out of the living and galley areas and put in tile. As would be expected, we found some rotted floor under the beds and busted plumbing, thank god we didn't hook up the water to see if it worked, it would have been like "old faithful" in so many places. The new floor is in but the stove is still out and the wiring behind it looks pretty messy. Also the floor in the lue is rotted. It looks as if we may have to bunk with someone else if we are ever gonna make it to a Rally, How 'bout it Frank, got any room?

NEW STUFF
Well Friday I received a nice package from Inland RV, wooohooo. So today I started and completed 3 windows with all new weather stripping, D Channel love this stuff, and boy what a seal it made, I repaired two of the retracting clips on the front windows, also I took off the stove vent from the roof and repaired and painted it. I used Parr Bond sealant for all of the gasket areas, the plumbing vents and stove exhaust vent. The flooring glue completely set up so I cleaned and waxed the new tile floor I laid last weekend. Kinda pooped now, so I will be back at it on Sunday.

Rain Guards?????
I am thinking of having rain guards fabricated for the 68 in order to limit the amount of run off water passing over the windows and door. Any input on this? Do these exist for purchase? I have been online all day and have not found any.
More accomplished
We need new screens with frames, window seals for all windows, window clips with latch cranks to mate to the clips, The toilet is broke and needs replaced, we need sewer pipe and connectors, I will be testing the water today. I hooked it up to electric yesterday and it seems to be working. I need to install a new battery to test the power inverter and charger. If anyone can help on parts I would greatly appreciate it.
We are hoping to have this one ready for camping in a couple of weeks.
P.S. Rob, Frank, Any input would help.

More progress today
Bobby worked on the floor today, It's looking good! I cleaned the bathroom, It looks much better! It still needs some floor repair. We need to find screens for the windows. I was going to make curtains, fortunately I have a sewing machine, unfortunately I am NOT a seamstress by any streatch of the imagination. The only thing that came out of that was severe frustration and a feeling of failure...I am going to have to call my mom for this one!

pictures of the '68
Here are some photos of the newest arrival! We brought her home yesterday, blown tire making all kinds of noise. Thank god we only live a few miles from her last home, we came home at a whopping 15 MPH. Bobby is more excited about this one because once we get "leroy" put back together he gets to do whatever he wants to with this one, not just yet though, we are gonna clean her up and camp in her...I can't wait! (I keep getting a strange "metal" taste in my mouth)
Hey guys can you help me
I am looking for a Owners manual for a 1968 Airstream Overlander, International.
Can Anyone Help?
Thanks, Bobby
